Its been a busy January in Forivorland where we were delighted to be included in our first ever catwalk show as part of the Pirouette Piazza at Pitti Bimbo in Florence.
We were so honoured to be asked to take part in this showcase by Katie at Pirouette Magazine and it was a really rewarding piece of work for our team despite landing at our busiest time of year as we all stepped outside of our normal routines to design and create looks that were an interpretation of The Winter's Moth theme for the show.
Moths and butterflies feature in many of our different collections so Alice got to work designing looks that could show the different parts of a moths life cycle through the different iconic collections.
Look 1: The Cocoon
Sketched into being by Alice and brought to life by Sam our embroiderer in the midst of Christmas / New Year chaos on a snowy hillside in Wales. It may not be the most practical item but we have been dreaming of Forivor quilted coats for many years......
