Forivor's Feast: Children's Art Workshop

Posted by Alice Ross on

On a gloriously sunny Saturday morning in May, we were delighted to host Forivor’s Feast: A Children’s Art Workshop at Skye McAlpine’s Tavola Spring Shop in London.

We welcomed children and their grown-ups into Skye's homely space - a treasure trove of fruit-flecked tableware, our Once Upon a Feast linen tablecloths, and gentle spring light. The perfect place for imaginations to run free.

We asked the children to think of their favourite animal and their dream midnight feast treat and to combine them to make a lovely animal wearing a hat on a plate. We then set the table to create their own magical table settings for the perfect midnight feast. The children used illustrations from our Enchanted Forest character cards and inspired by Skye’s joyful tablescapes (and a few charming cardboard teapots), they painted and drew their own plates. We absolutely loved watching them come to life.

Thank you so much to Skye and her wonderful team for having us, and to all the little artists who joined us. We were so inspired by your ideas, your colours, and your stories. We hope your beautiful plates take centre stage at your next moonlit gathering - real or imagined.

With love,
Alice & Rebecca x
