Forivor X Villa Bologna

Forivor X Villa Bologna

Posted by Alice Ross on

We’ve joined forces with Malta's historic Villa Bologna Pottery to create a children's tableware set that turns mealtimes into a game. The collaboration is a natural meeting of our two worlds united by a deep love of craft, illustration, and the unexpected.

The set comprises a plate, bowl, and mug, each hand-painted in Villa Bologna Pottery's studio in Attard, Malta, where artisans have been practising their craft since 1924. What makes this collection truly special is its sense of play: as the cup is moved and repositioned, the illustrations combine and recombine to create entirely new creatures, a three-dimensional game of transformation that lives on the breakfast or dinner table. The set can also be purchased in a beautifully illustrated gift box.
The set is both completely practical, designed to have a place at every meal time, but also an object that will be treasured for years to come, just like our bedding.

Forivor’s Alice was inspired by her love for the game of consequences and its endless possibilities ‘I loved the idea of children being playful while having their cornflakes or dinner’. Her original illustrations have been interpreted by the skilled artists at Villa Bologna, who hand paint each set to make each one completely individual.
Bon appetit from Forivor & Villa Bologna!
