Our First Ever Open House - Forivor

Our First Ever Open House

Posted by Rebecca Monserat on

This bank holiday Monday on our hilltop perch overlooking the Wye Valley and the Black Mountains, we opened up my home, which is also Forivor's home for people to browse Alice's original artwork, relax in our garden and view our collections.

With the Hay Festival and a heatwave in full swing it was so lovely to welcome people for some respite under our beautiful big tree. Alice and I have set up numerous pop ups and events in our ten years of running Forivor but its the first time we've done this in our own space. We set up a teepee on the lawn for shade and hung quilts amongst the trees, it felt very fitting to see our designs gathered together in our own space and we hope this will be the first of many times we can gather together at Forivor HQ.

My daughter Remie baked 4 delicious cakes served on my grans crockery on our Once Upon a Feast tablecloths and we were lucky enough to have cider provided by Showerings Cider and delicious tea from Joes Tea Co.
