Popping up with Edward Bulmer - Forivor

Popping up with Edward Bulmer

| Rebecca Monserat

We were so delighted to be invited to 'pop-up' at the Edward Bulmer showroom in London in February. Without a physical 'shop' we don't often get the chance to meet our customers in real life, and so the time spent on Ebury Street, surrounded by beautiful interiors, perfect colour schemes and with their lovely team was a lovely break from our routines.

The highlight of our time in Pimlico was absolutely seeing all of Alice's original illustrations for Forivor exhibited for the first time, set against Edward's beautiful colours which perfectly accented her work. Seeing the original artwork on display all together made me feel so proud of what we have created and in awe of Alice's ability to create such magical worlds for Forivor.

My mum has used Edward Bulmer paints for years, both because of their beautiful gentle tones and finish but also because they are the healthiest paints out there. Since moving into our new home, we are now slowly room by room enjoying choosing colours from their collection. Last year we painted our living room in their beautiful Rose shade with Pompadour on the shelves and a drab green backdrop behind the books. My daughter chose Kitty and Pomona stripes and when we are finished making curtains and decorating her room I can't wait to share some pictures with you!

The Mail Art workshop was a great success with many a magical creature imagined and illustrated. The joy and excitement in children who are given the freedom to express themselves and their (often far-fetched) ideas is wonderful to watch. We hope that the letters were received with the joy and surprise that was intended. Here are a few pictures from the event.

We hosted a press breakfast which provided the perfect opportunity for us to set a table showcasing some products from our newest Forivor collection 'Once Upon a Feast' that we are really excited to be launching very soon.

We were both interviewed in the lead up to the event for the Edward Bulmer blog. It was a thought provoking (if slightly daunting) list of questions, and I really enjoyed the time I spent pondering my answers. We covered everything from our interiors choices (including our favourite Edward Bulmer paint colours of course), to how we feel playfulness and environmental consciousness become one through Forivor, to how our childhoods have inspired our adulthood creativity, all the way through to our favourite recipes, podcasts and places!
