The Space Above the Ground Quilted Blanket
Our super soft organic cotton The Space Above the Ground Quilted Blanket is designed to inspire dreams of soaring high in a starlit sky. The collection is a love song to the air around us and all the creatures that inhabit it, from pollinating moths, to rhinoceros beetles and rare migratory birds.
The reversible hand illustrated blanket takes families on a journey from day to night. On one side of the design, three children can be glimpsed among the large branches of an old ash tree, finding unfamiliar faces in the cloud formations and spotting birds. Turning over your bedding at night, giant moth air balloons carrying children rise up in a star lit cosmos. The caterpillars have transformed into incredible regal moths and a pair of trumpeting bees guard the magic pink sap of the ash tree.
You can choose to have your quilt presented in a beautiful organic suitcase, perfect for all sorts of uses, including a PE bag for school, first sleepover bag and keeping your bedding stored for future generations.

Made from organic cotton 318 Thread Count cotton satin with recycled polyester wadding.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Machine washable at 30 degrees, please hang to dry if possible to protect the planet. We recommend spot washing wherever possible and only machine washing when absolutely necessary, this increases the life span of all textiles and reduces carbon emissions and water use.
OUR PRODUCTION VALUES
The factory we partner with in India works to negate all harmful aspects of production. The GOTS certified organic cotton used in our bedding is primarily rain-fed and the factory is working to reduce their production water usage by 20% each year. The dyes used in our digital print are organic approved avoiding producing any harmful by products. Only bio-degradable packaging is used to ship the bedding safely from our supplier in India to us in the UK.
Housing is provided for around 50% staff with free water and electricity with plans to increase this to 100% in the next few years. Importantly, during the Covid Pandemic they continued to pay their staff 100% of their salary.
